What is stored

About a group: its Telegram group ID, its name, its quiz settings such as interval, language and leaderboard time, and the counts that apply its free limits (when its last group mock test started and ended, and how many it has run in the past 24 hours).
About a person: your Telegram user ID, your username or display name as Telegram provides it, your quiz scores and leaderboard entries, your mock-test results, and the counts that apply the free limits (how many mock tests you have started in the current free window, and when you last used the free mistake review and the free retry). If you take subject-wise tests, it also keeps how many you have started in each subject in the past 24 hours and where you are in each subject’s questions. For 📄 Save Test as PDF it keeps your last 10 mock tests: which questions they had and the answer you chose for each.
Operational metadata: timestamps and message IDs, kept temporarily for debugging and moderation.
About a payment, only if a group buys the Settings Pass: the payment reference (Telegram’s, or Razorpay’s payment ID for a UPI/card payment), the group ID, the Telegram user ID and username of whoever paid (for a UPI/card payment, of the admin who tapped Buy, when known), the amount in Stars or rupees, the dates it was bought, first used and refunded, and, for a 1-month or 1-year pass, when it ends and when the group was reminded of that.
About a Mock Test Pass purchase, only if a person buys one: the same fields as above, keyed to the buyer’s Telegram ID instead of a group, plus the date it expires. For a purchase paid by UPI, card, netbanking or wallet, the reference is Razorpay’s payment ID, the amount is in rupees, and the payment method (for example “upi” or “card”) is noted.
About a UPI/card payment page, only if you open one: which pass and plan it was for, the Telegram ID it was made for (or, for a group’s pass, the group, its name and the admin who tapped Buy), the amount, when it was made and whether it was paid. This record exists even if you never pay, so a payment that arrives late can still be matched; it is kept with the payment records.
About a referral, only if a person uses one: which Telegram ID referred you, and how many people you have referred. Used solely to grant the free Mock Test Pass described above.

The bots collect no phone numbers, email addresses, contacts, or message content beyond quiz interactions. Telegram never shares your phone number with a bot.

Payments. A Telegram Stars payment happens entirely inside Telegram; the bot is told only that it succeeded and its reference. A UPI, card, netbanking or wallet payment happens on a payment page run by Razorpay, our payment processor, which asks for your phone number (and optionally your email) as part of the payment. Razorpay’s record of the payment, which we can see in our Razorpay account, includes that phone number and email, the method used, your UPI ID for a UPI payment, and for a card only the card network, issuing bank and last four digits. We never see your full card number, UPI PIN or bank password, and the bots do not copy your phone number, email or UPI ID into their own records. Razorpay handles the payment under its own privacy policy.

Why it is stored

To post quizzes to the right chat, on the schedule it asked for.
To mark answers, keep scores and build leaderboards.
To understand aggregate usage (how many groups and questions, not who answered what) so fixes and content improvements can be prioritised.
To moderate abuse and enforce the Terms.

Who it is shared with

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data to third parties. Data is disclosed only where legally required, or where necessary to protect the safety of users. Infrastructure providers (hosting, database hosting and backups) process data on our behalf under their own contractual protections. Razorpay processes UPI, card, netbanking and wallet payments, as described above.

Tracking and analytics

This website itself includes no analytics or advertising scripts, and sets no cookies of its own. The figures shown on the home page are counted from the bots' own records, not from anything about you as a visitor. If analytics are ever added, this policy will be updated first.

Affiliate and referral links

Some pages and bot messages contain affiliate or referral links to third-party products, tools, or services, including the Amazon Associates Program. Clicking such a link may result in a cookie being set by that third party, governed by its own privacy policy. We may earn a commission on qualifying purchases or sign-ups, at no additional cost to the user. We receive only aggregate data from these programs, such as purchase counts and total commission — never personal or payment information.

TypeFlow practice page

The TypeFlow page at /typeflow is a browser-only English typing practice tool. Its settings, session history and results are stored in your browser's local storage and are not sent to us. TypeFlow does not create an account, use cookies, or add analytics. Its scores are for practice and are not official examination results.

How long it is kept

Group and score records are kept for as long as the bot is in the group and the service is running, because that is what a leaderboard needs. Operational logs are purged on a rolling basis. Anything you delete yourself is removed immediately, as described below.

Payment records are the exception. They are kept as financial records, even after a refund and after /deletemydata, because they are the record that money moved, and are needed to issue or evidence a refund. They are the only thing that command does not remove.

Your control over your data

/deletemydata: send this to a bot in a private chat and everything it holds about you is removed, apart from payment records, which are kept as described above.
/resetscore: clears your scores and your mock test history while leaving you able to keep playing.
Removing the bot from a group stops all collection for that group.
For anything else, such as a copy of your data or a question about it, email support@loukyaquiz.in.

Each bot keeps its own separate records, so run the command on each bot you have used. The one thing our bots share between themselves is whether you (or your group) hold a paid pass, and until when, so that a pass bought in one bot works in all of them.

Security

Reasonable technical measures protect this data, including access-controlled hosting and encrypted connections. No internet service is completely secure, and no absolute guarantee can be given.

Age

These bots are built for competitive exam preparation and are intended for adult learners. They are not directed at children, and no part of the service is designed to appeal to or attract them.

The bots are reachable only through Telegram, so Telegram's own minimum age for holding an account applies before anyone can use them. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone below that age. If you believe a child's data has been collected, contact us and it will be removed.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page.
